What is Discipleship?

Discipleship is the journey that each of us is asked by Jesus to embark upon after we have discovered Him as our Lord and Savior. It is a lifelong joy to study God’s Word, apply His truths to our life and become like Christ. This is our desire and God’s will for every believer at Las Cruces First.

Why Connect?

Only by experiencing life together do people connect, and only as we connect do we discover God’s plan for believers to live in a community of joy. We want to assist you in your quest to connect with God and with others and by doing so live the abundant life Jesus promised!

What is a small group?

Is a group of people who come together with a common interest to grow in their relationship with God and to develop lasting relationships with others.

What should I expect?

You will meet people like you who love God and want more from life in an environment of acceptance, energy, joy and growth.

What should I wear?

Small groups are meant to be relaxing, so put on your favorite pair of jeans and enjoy.

Is there a small group for me?We offer a multitude of small groups and each has it’s own focus of study. Some examples are: Reprogram Your Mind, Got Marriage?, The Book of Hebrews, Say Goodbye to Whining & Complaining in You and Your Kids, Parables in Patchwork, and A Call to Joy.

When do groups meet?

We have small groups that meet on the church campus Sundays at 9:00am & 10:45am, and on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 7:00pm. We also have small groups that meet off campus at different locations and at different times throughout the week.
